Red Bull Goni Pony
Together we will drive the devil to the top of Vršič!
Last year we marked the eighth anniversary of the event, and this year we will be climbing the highest Slovenian pass on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
You can’t miss a #retro holiday of epic proportions! Don’t have a bike? Search your, your father’s and your neighbor’s garage! Don’t you have a retro thing to do? Look through your mother’s, grandmother’s and mother-in-law’s closet!
The starting point will be under the Kranjskogo ski slopes at the event area behind the Kompas hotel. The introductory “warm-up” behind the accompanying vehicle will take place through the center of Kranjska Gora to Vršiška cesta, where all competitors line up in front of the starting line.
At 15:00, the car at the head of the column will cross the starting line, signaling the start of the competition.
The competitor in each category with the best net time will be the winner of the Red Bull Goni Pony competition. The goal of the competition is set at the top of the Vršič pass.
Red Bull Goni Pony is not an ordinary cycling competition but a competition with style. With a style that was popular during the production of Horned Ponies from the mid-60s to the mid-80s. So leave your smartphones and carbon accessories at home and have fun with us in retro style.
