The screening of the first Slovenian silent feature film from 1931, In the Kingdom of Goldhorn, will be performed with a live performance of the musical score by Andrej Goričar.
Andrej Goričar’s music for the film V kraljestvu Zlatorog was first performed by the Symphony Orchestra of RTV Slovenia under the baton of Helmut Imig on the 100th anniversary of Slovenian cinema in 2005. In 2018, Andrej also prepared a quartet version, which was performed for the first time in the summer in Switzerland. As before, in this performance Andrej will be joined at the piano by Jakob Bobek on the clarinet and Milan Hudnik on the cello, while Janez Podlesek will play the violin.
