START AND FINISH
Competitors will enter the course in a group start from the starting point below the Kranjskogo ski resorts. The introductory “warm-up” will take place along the main road in the direction of Ljubljana past Kranjska Gora to the intersection at TGC Kranjska Gora and further along Vršiška cesta to Hotel Kranjska Gora, where the competition will start with the start of timing.
The start in Kranjska Gora is at an altitude of 810 meters, and the finish line is at the top of the Vršič Pass, at an altitude of 1,611 meters. The length of the track is 13.5 kilometers with a height difference of 801 meters, with a maximum gradient of 10.8% and an average gradient of 7.25%.
Timing will be done with electronic chips, which registrants will collect when collecting their start numbers on the day of the event between 8:00 and 10:30 at the hotel “Ramada & Suite Resort Kranjska Gora” (ex Hotel Prisank) in the center of Kranjska Gora. Gross times will be taken into account for the final ranking. The gross time is the sum of the net time (measured time from start to finish) and the time lag behind the winner.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
The announcement of the results and the reception of the contestants is scheduled at 2 p.m. at the event space of the hotel “Ramada & Suite Resort Kranjska Gora” (ex Hotel Prisank) in the center of Kranjska Gora.
