You are invited to the Summer under Triglav on 11th of August at 20.00 at the Olympic Square in Mojstrana, where the Jesenice – Kranjska Gora Brass Orchestra will perform.
For the last five years, the orchestra has been led by a new conductor, the young Styrian music expert and reliable Dejan Rihtarič, who has brought new wind, youthful exuberance, curiosity, new searches, connections with young musicians of today, high expectations, different compositions, and above all a warm human attitude towards each individual in the orchestra. Young people will remember him for opening the window to the world and their homeland wider, whether it was social meetings with local brass players after high-profile concerts and tours in Slovenia, in Pag, Podkloštro or Bagnarola. The collaboration with the artists Monika Bohinec and tenor Klemen Torkar, the champion of the Vienna Opera, and the Jesenik choir KD Vox Carniola in the challenging project Ljudska zGodba (People’s Praise), with which the orchestra toured in 2017 to Bled, Ptuj, Ribnica and Pag, was highly acclaimed.
